TiECon Midwest 2009 - Prelude to Recovery

We have a tradition of celebrating the winners by parading them in victory lanes. We must also realize the contribution of the mentors, coaches and the pit crew whose efforts shape the race and groom the winners. Our economy is going through the worst of times, but we must turn this epoch of incredulity in the epoch of light. This is what TieCon Midwest 2009 is all about – a prelude to recovery.

There are aspiring and struggling entrepreneurs who are getting discouraged due to the prolonged recession and they are finding it harder to survive let alone raising money. TieCon Midwest 2009 wants to be their coach, mentor – the pit crew for the winners of tomorrow. TieCon Midwest 2009 will concentrate in the segments of Software, Wireless, Cleantech, media and Life Sciences which very appropriately fall in line with Michigan’s competitive-edge technologies target consisting of life sciences, Alternative energy, Advanced automotive, manufacturing and materials, Homeland security and defense

Businessweek, July 27, 2009). Yes, we want to write the newest page of history. TieCon Midwest 2009 is going to change the season of despair into the season of hope.
